As a member of the UbiSim team (part of Labster), you will join a team deeply passionate about our mission to use cutting-edge VR technology to make nursing simulation more accessible and realistic than ever before. We believe that better-trained nurses mean better and safer patient care and that is what motivates us to improve our platform every day.

As a Tech Artist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in shaping the future of nursing training. You will be part of a small team creating highly realistic training simulation using a scalable and customizable platform that is already used by thousands of students around the world.

What you’ll be doing (responsibilities)

• Identify optimization challenges, apply your expertise to problem-solve, and share techniques to overcome them.
• Develop visual features of the game, whether that’s writing shader code, pioneering new asset creation techniques, or creating technical prototypes and mock-ups.

• Troubleshoot existing tech and support incoming tech
• Assist in the creation of 3D art textures and models for environment, and props as required

If you’ve got these skills, we’d love to hear from you

• Comfortable working with 3D meshes, UV's, skinning and rigging in Unity.

• Ability to work in, and script tools in applications like Blender, 3DS Max, Substance, Photoshop.
