What are antimicrobial agents? You may have heard of antibiotics or even used them yourself. An antibiotic is a type of antimicrobial that is effective in treating bacterial infections. '抗菌' is a term used to cover many different compounds that can halt the growth of microbial cells.
抗菌compounds can be non-selective (such asdisinfectantsandsteriliants) or选择性的毒性, meaning they target a specific type of microorganism.
