路易·巴斯德(1822年12月27日- 9月28日1895) was a French scientist, famous for his work in vaccination, microbial fermentation, andpasteurization. He indicated that wine or beer spoilage could be prevented by heating the drinks to 57°C/135°F for a few minutes. The heating treatment to stop food and beverage contamination become known as pasteurization.
