Scientific Content Creator (Chemistry)

As a Scientific Content Creator (Chemistry), you will help our amazing team in creating the next generation of 3D education solutions and expand and maintain our chemistry catalog. You will be part of and collaborate with, our amazing content team to create our new chemistry simulations under an agile mindset.

NOTE: This position will be fully remote for a 1-year contract (with the possibility for an extension) to start as soon as possible.

What you’ll be doing

• As the scientific expert in your team, you will be preparing learning materials to make sure that your team understands the scientific topic that will be covered in the simulation. These learning materials will be a reference point during the simulation development.
• Collaborating closely with the rest of the development team to build and improve chemistry simulations. This is a group effort, where you will in particular bring your scientific knowledge and writing skills to the table. Be ready to test simulations and iterate through them to meet scientific accuracy and high-quality standards, while making sure that the students have fun!
• Working closely with our 3D art team on how the simulations and their content should look, and designing 3D animations that will help students understand science at the molecular level.
• Assessing potential scientific issues in simulations.

• Strong passion for science and education.
• You have a strong background in general chemistry, minimum a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

• You have a tech-savvy mindset that will allow you to quickly learn all the tools and processes we are using in the development process.
• You are effective while working in a remote and distributed environment.
• Experience within science communication or science education is a plus.
• You are truly interested in technology and multimedia.
