For Mohammad Hamdallah, it’s never just about the technology

I’m Labster’s Regional Director for Science Partnerships in the Middle East which means I connect educators at schools and universities with Labster’s science simulations and our entire ecosystem of learning resources. I’ve been living in Copenhagen for quite some time but I’m originally from Jordan. I speak Arabic and English in addition to Danish, so it’s really easy to communicate with educators in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the UAE.

What has surprised you most about working at Labster?
The people here, their focus is on how to help a student become a better student. My colleagues are really passionate about education. They could be more focused on corporate, money-making logic – but they’re not. They feel connected to the teachers and their students.
What’s one important insight you share with educators?

I love doing sports like running, skiing, swimming, cycling. I also like to travel. Our family is large and we’re spread out in the United States, Jordan, and my wife and I live in Denmark with our three children. We love making the time to do things together. On our last trip, we went to Miami to visit my sister and we had a great time visiting the Everglades, the Florida Keys, and Disney World. I can’t wait to travel again!
