The basic concept of flipped teaching is that students are given teaching information before class, often online, and can then apply what they learned in classroom activities which may have traditionally been given as homework.
We were joined by Cathy Thomas-Varco, managing director of online learning resource company Mirrabook Development Trust CIC, and Dr. Felicia Vulcu, an Assistant Professor at McMaster University.
